新しい♡Review: Puffy 3-Tone Grey/ Royal Vision Macaron Grey

Hello all!

Today's review is on the puffy 3-tone grey circle lenses also known as Royal Vision Macaron Greys. I bought these lenses from LensVillage along with two other pairs of lenses that I will review as well (TheDollyEye Dreamy.i in brown and I.Fairy Hanabi red).

The bottle says that the lenses are 16mm with an 8.6 B.C but they seem more like a 14.5mm. The water content is 42% so they're kind of comfy, my eyes aren't used to wearing contacts yet so I just have to get used to it them again. The customer service from the store was good this time. It took them about a week to ship my order out after placing it but got to my house within 3 days from its shipping.

Here's what the lenses look like in lighting from my vanity. As you can see they are very very vibrant and I love them!

And here is the lenses in light coming from my window

RATINGS!

Comfort: ♡♡♡/♡♡♡♡♡

Color: ♡♡♡♡♡/♡♡♡♡♡

Enlargement: ♡♡♡♡♡/♡♡♡♡♡

If you're looking for lenses that are easily seen and have an enlarging effect I HIGHLY recommend these lenses for you :D

☆ 新しいREVIEW ☆ Princess Nudy Pink

Today's review is on... Princess Nudy circle lenses in Pink! I bought (Yes, BOUGHT) these lenses from Lensvillage. The page says that the diameter is 14.7mm with 38% water content. The shipping was pretty standard, it got to me within a month on regular shipping. They were on sale for $17, if I remember correctly but now they're on sale for $19.50. Now, I'm just gonna let you know now that I wouldn't recommend these lenses.

These are what the lenses look like with sunlight *on a cloudyish day* coming through a window far away from me. As you can see, they aren't pink at all. The limbal ring isn't at all evident and the color looks more like a dark reddish brown on my eyes. I have in one lens in my left eye and no lens in my right so you can see the enlarging effect (and because my other lens was being a doof so I couldn't put it in).

And here is what the lenses look like closer to a window. The only thing these lenses are good for is enlarging while adding just a tint of color, so if that's what you're looking for then these are the ones for you.

Comfort: ☆☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆

Color: -☆/☆☆☆☆☆

Price: ☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆

Enlargement: ☆☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆

This was pretty short lol but I think it's better that way, don't you think?

Now I'm just gonna post some random feel-good photos because I haven't done it in a while! I This hair I'm wearing is a wig I made last night and so far I'm diggin' it! :D

☆ 新しい Review : NARS Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross ☆

I think I'm going to start labeling my reviews like this from now on lol it looks cute and I'm getting my eyeballs used to Kanji again (I start level II next week D:)

☆ S T O R Y T I M E ☆

An-t-way, I'm reviewing something that everyone and their ancestors seems to have. I've been wanting to try this highlighter for about a week and a half because I wanted to find something that would give me a lovely golden glow like I see on most dark skinned beauty gurus on YouTube. At first I bought the MAC Extra Dimension SkinFinish in Magnetic Appeal because the MUA at that station recommended it to me. Now, I bought it because it had a nice illuminating effect, very metallic and I liked how it looked on my skin for everyday use. Did it do what I was really looking for it to do? Nope. So I went to Target, Walmart, and even Bed, Bath, and Beyond to find a highlighter that was actually lighter than my skintone and made me ~GLOOOOOOW~

I, unfortunately, found only one thing and it was NYC Sun 2 Sun Bronzing Powder in Bronze Gold. This had a beautiful gold highlighter color alongside a bronzer that matched my skin tone. So when I got home to try it out I wasn't totally thrilled with it. The color shows up ever so faintly so if anything it just adds shimmer to my face. It would probably look better on someone of a deeper complexion than mine (which is one thing I envy about darker girls, highlighters look unrealistically beautiful on their skin).

So after researching I found out about two highlighters I really really wanted to try: The NARS highlighting blush and The Mary Lou Manizer by TheBalm. Since my local Sephora doesn't sell the Mary Lou Manizer I bought the NARS one (which I will be trading in tomorrow for a setting powder and buying the Mary Lou Manizer on eBay since it's cheaper and I really need a setting powder)

☆ A C T U A L ✿ R E V I E W ☆

**Before we continue, this product cost me $30...**

The products comes in a small compact (it's only 0.16oz/ 4.8g) and literally sits in the palm of my hand. The color looks like a goldish white in the case and on your finger when you swatch it.

When you put it on your skin though, it turns into a beautiful soft gold.

^ That's what it looks liked when I wiped my finger 3 times in the blush and wiped it on the back of my hand once. The more you blend it out the more golden it looks on the shine. This products DOES HAS SHIMMER IN IT but not enough to make you look like Edward Cullen.

^ This is when I blended the product out. It also blends easily, just a few flicks with the brush and it's done. The texture of this blush is smooth and soft, it doesn't have a chunky or chalky feel to it at all. I think all skin types would enjoy this product, even those with dry skin (just make sure to moisturize and prime your skin first then set with a setting mist) and I've been told that it's great for all skin tones as well especially those who are of color.

☆ R E V I E W ✿ D O N E ☆

As you may have read above, I plan on returning this products tomorrow and exchanging it for the new Makeup Forever HD Pressed Powder. Grrrrrrrl, I knew I should've just bought my blush and left but noooo, I had to browse around Sephora and see what else they had. I just so happen to see that they had a new setting powder instead of the kind that they have in a jar and I was like, "Let me stick my finger in this and see how it--," I was sold as soon as my skin made contact with the powder. It was the smoothest thing I've ever touched in my life besides my Num-Num's face. And no matter how many times I rubbed my finger in it, the powder never made my finger look like i was fingering a bag full of chalk (unlike the e.l.f setting powder *cough cough*) and the case was just...°˖ ✧◝(○ ヮ ○)◜✧˖ ° perfect. So I'm exchanging it for that and will be reviewing it for you all of course along with the Mary Lou Manizer whenever it gets in next week

Also, I'm not much looking forward to going back to school yet (-___-) If I fall off with reviews and videos you'll know what happened to me. But I'll try to keep up with the blog and revamp it too, this place needs some more color and a facelift.

Etude House Product Review!

Hello all! Today I'm going to review a few products from the Etude House line. I made a video about it but I'm also making a post because I have pictures that'll show the products better on my skin.

First up is the Etoinette Heart Blusher in Coral. I've picked this colors because I figured the pink one would be too pink on me. Not gonna lie, the pigment isn't something that shows up well on my skin unless the sun hits it right that's why I would recommend it as a highlight.

As you can see,it's not something you can see clearly (and I was also wearing a highlight underneath so I guess this isn't fair lol)

I do have to warn you that if you pack it on too much it'll make your face look super shiny.

Next up is the Etoinette Crystal Shine Lip in PBE001. I was expecting this to be more brown than it was but it's still not bad. It's a nice subtle nudish pink that looks quite lovely if I do say so myself. It's very smooth and doesn't have a sticky feel to it at all, very velvety. I think after a few hours the color does fade to a less vibrant pink

In the last picture I'm wearing the color on my bottom lip and nothing on my top lip so you can see the difference.

The other product I bought was the Nymph Aura Volumer Baby Glow Mist, I don't think I can do a true review on it because I've only used it once (which was today). I can say that it's very perfume-y so if you are sensitive to smells then don't buy it. When you first smell it it has a nice faint floral smell but if you spray it more than once it will smell very strong.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the spray :(

Hope you guys enjoyed the review and found it helpful! Have a happy and safe New Year and happy holidays! :D

Check out my video!

To sum it up, I regret buying orange color lip colors, bright pink lip colors, Femme Couture bronzer, Wet N' Wild H20 liquid eyeliner, Stila Lip Glaze, Dream Nude Air Foam Foundation by Maybelline, Hard Candy All Lid Up cream eyeshadow, Blackheart liquid glitter liner, Wet N' Wild MegaProtein mascara, and Andrea Modlash eyelash glue in clear. Also I listed Garnier BB Cream for the consistency.

NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil Review

Hello darlings,

Today I have for you a review of one of the new products I bought. This season has brought on an urge that I don't usually get and that is the urge to wear lipstick. So I've spent the last two months looking at Youtube videos and picking up random lipsticks from my local drugstore in order to find my perfect shades (but we'll save those other colors for another post). Along with wanting to find good lipsticks that compliment my skintone, I've ALWAYS wanted to find a nude lip color. All the ones that I found at my local drugstores have either been too pink, too orange, or too brown and after noticing that I went to Sephora and asked one of the consultants to help me find a color. I tried out the NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil and OMG...it's soooooooooooooooooo awesooooooooooooome!

The color I got is called More 9109. The color matches my natural lip color nicely without being overpowering, adds just a little more saturation to them if I do say so myself.

^In this picture I've only applied the lip color to my bottom lip so you can see the comparison of my natural lip to the color. When you compare it to a brand like Wet'N'Wild or NYC you can really feel the difference. It's so freakin' smooth and moist but it does have a very slight sticky feel after a few minutes like most glosses.

(The color in my bedroom lighting)

Color: 5/5

Texture: 5/5 [By texure I mean how well it applies and how it feels on my lips]

Price: 4/5

Would I buy it again?: Yes

I'm not fond of the price of this product which was around $25, but it's worth it in the long run. The pencil looks like it'll last me for a good 0.5-1 year since you don't have to re-apply coats of it a lot throughout the day and I more than likely will not be wearing it every single day.

I hope you found this review useful!

Onee-gyaru day! and A Mini Review

Ello ello~

Today I made myself get dressed up lol I've been avoiding putting makeup on for some reason these past two weeks (just lazy I guess) I went for Oneegyaru and wore my new favorite orange leopard print dress and a big giant floppy beach hat :D I've always wanted a giant beach hat and I'm so glad I got it. I got the hat from Burlington for $6 and the the dress from a local store called Simple Fashion for $22.

I also got a belt in the mail that looks like a D.I.A belt! I just bought one in black now that I know it fits me. It's kinda snug but, it'll do lol. I think I may add some different chains with charms to make it look more edgy :3 I got them from a woman named Leisha who owns the storeAngel2Diva and she is super sweet and kind. I had emailed her about these belts and she answered in a very timely and polite manner. I had to place my order over the phone but that's all good ^^. The belts cost $34 plus $6 shipping for priority mailling. If you're interested in buying a belt you'll have to email her to see what she has in stock.

P.S I'm not as fat as these picture make me out to be, the dress was just weird with the belt on lol

That wasn't the review, however. I wanted to review this new eyelash glue I got by Andrea Modlash. It's a brush on clear eyelashe glue that I picked up from Walgreens. Today was the firt time I used this glue and I gotta say...I like it. When I brushed it on the eyelash band the glue was pretty much instantly ready to be put on and stick. I've had the lashes on for about an hour and so far they haven't lifted on the edges or anywhere else. The price was about the same price as any other eyelash glue (I think it was $4, I can't quite remember. Edit: I just got back home from a dancer performance in a hot ass silk kaftan under bright ass stage lights and my lashes haven't melted off yet, so the hold is great!

Okay, that was it for today! Have an awesome one guys!

Review: Hana/SP Nudy Brown VS. GnG/Dueba 3-Tone Super Nudy Brown

I got these lenses from Kiwiberry1-collection.com while they had their end of the year sale. I actually purchased the 3-tone nudys on accident lol because originally I only wanted one pair of brown lenses but accidentally left these in my cart...anyyyyywayyy, I'm going to be doing a double review.

P.S I'm writing this from my phone so please excuse the disorder of the pictures. In my left eye is the GnG 3-tone browns and the Hana/SP nudys are in my right. The dim photos were taken in my bathroom and the bright one was taken in direct sunlight from my window.

First off, I frequently buy from Kiwiberry so I would recommend buying from this site 100%. Shipping usually takes two weeks but, depending on where you live and holidays, it can take up to three weeks. All their items are $20 and first time users get 15% off their order.

Hana/SP Super Nudy lenses
•Opaque golden/greenish brown color that is pixelated. Color 4/5 (good for Onee-gal makeup)
•These lenses are 14.5mm with no black ring around the edges so its natural looking but not very enlarging. Enlarging 2/5
•When I put one in my right eye it felt like I had it inside out when it wasn't. Comfort 2/5

GnG/Dueba 3-Tone Super Nudy Brown
•Very dark brown with small specks of a lighter brown around the pupil hole. I didn't expect it to be so dark, but I still give the color 4/5 because I still like how it looks in my eyes.
•These lenses are 14.5mm but due to them having a black ring around them they have a 15mm effect so enlarging is a 4/5.
•I had these lenses in for about 4 hours and didn't feel them in my eyes at all even when I blinked. Only problem is my eyes dry them out so they get blurry occasionally. Comfort 4/5

verdict
I'm loving the 3-tones a lot more than the Hana/SP ones lol

Kimchi Bambie Blue Circle Lens Review

Herrooo~

Tonight I shall be reviewing a pair of lenses Ive had for about a month now. They're, as you probably read from the title, the kimchi bambi blues. I bought these from LensVillage along with the Kimchi Bambie Greys and DollyEye Greys (I'l get to those later).

The Store Itself

★★★★★/5

Their online shop is easy to navigate and they have a wide variety of choices. Not to mention they have very decent prices and give you free standard shipping with orders over $50 and free expedited shipping on orders over $80. I've ordered from them before with standard shipping and for some reason it took about a month and a half for them to get to me. I'm unsure if that was just a bad time for things to be shipped to the States or standard shipping really does take that long. My friends tell me it only usually takes 2-3 weeks for standard.

~The Lenses~

Color: ★★★★★/5

Enlarging: ★★★★★/5

Comfort: ★★★★/5

These lenses cost $19 (without shipping and tax) which is AMAZINGLY cheap to me lol. I bought these because they looked similar to the Princess Mimi/Bambi lenses but cheaper. The color is very vibrant especially in flash and in webcam photos (They can look like the kimchi greys in flash). In regular sunlight they are still vibrant also. These lenses stick to my eyeballs very well and don't move around but my only problem is that, due to my eyes being kind of on the dry side, I get blurred vision when I blink because my eyes are drying out the lenses as well. The diameter is 15mm but have an effect of 16mm due to the dark ring around the outside and have a water content of 55%.

Taken with webcam

Taken with a regular (crappy) camera with a flash

Alright! This was relatively short but hopefully informative lol. And here's a picture of my makeup for today just because. Have a good night/day!

Random Lol

So I just bought two creams for my face. One is to get rid of under eye puffiness and the oher is a fading cream. The Eye Fade cream is by Dagget & Ramsdell and I'm assuming the Facial Fade Skin Lightening Cream is by the same company even though the jar doesn't have a company label on it...very strange.

I bought these in the CVS store for $6. I have seen a difference in my skin with the Facial Fade and I've only used it about 5-6 times once a day right before I go to bed. I don't have really really dark acne marks all over my face, but I do have three groups of medium-dark acne scars right under my cheeks and on my chin. I can already see them lightening up and starting to fade but I also am noticing 1-2 pimples popping up near the areas that I apply the cream so I need to start getting into a routine of cleaning my face and putting on acne preventive meds again...or my monster's about to show up...*shrug* either way it's not breaking me out bad lol. So would I recommend this product? Uh...der. It starts working quickly and effectively! The only downside I have is that they don't have directions for it on the jar, only the box.

Now, onto the Eye Fade Cream...I can't say I'm seeing any results from this product just yet.If I remember correctly, on the box it said you should begin seeing results in 3 months and if not then discontinue using the product. So...if I read that right, then this products takes a while to work. That being said, I can't really give a review of it until I use it for an extended period of time. Hopefully I remember to review it later.

OTHER NEWS

* Me and Miyabi are hosting a Gal me2 (meet) at the convention Anime USA in Washington, D.C if any of you readers/followers are in the area. We plan on just going to lunch just in case some of you guys aren't going to the convention.

*I have joined my university's belly dance troupe! WOOO! So now I'll be more busy with practice and trying to not let online assignments sneak in and drop my grades down ;_; Like they already are

I did my nails like three days ago but my thumb nails, left index finger, and left pinky finger nail popped off and the design sucked so I fixed them tonight and this is what they look like right now

Also, I've been really really lazy with dressing up because I'm finding myself not liking my clothes. My mind is it "cool weather mode" so it wants to put on tights/leggings and mini skirts and boots, but it's not that cold yet ;_; So I've just been doing my makeup with whatever I wear and my hair is disappointing me as well *sigh* my skills are dwindling...so sad...

Circle Lens Review and New Eyelashes

Ello thea!

I am finally back home! Woo :DDDD !!!! So I came home to find my new bottom lashes arrived along with the top lashes. While I was out of town I checked the tracking for my lenses that I ordered from LensVillage. They had been delivered to my house on the 7th of August but since no one was home to sign for it I had them redeliver it today (August 14th). So since I have no idea what time the mailman delivers things (I personally think they should put an expected time of delivery) I woke up at 7 this morning and waited until damn near noon so I wouldn't sleep through the doorbell and have to wait until tomorrow to go to the post office to get them. Also, my only complaint with buying from LensVillage is that their tracking is pretty much useless (in my case it was). It didn't update to tell me where my package was until it was delivered to my house almost a month after I ordered them.

I'll start off with the eyelashes. I ordered them off of EBay from two separate sellers. I got them with the original purpose of using them for Oneegyaru makeup, but as of lately I've been more drawn to 96gal/kuronba/rokku style. So I'll be trying to work them into that style.

Anyway, Here's what they look like:

I bought the top lashes from here and the bottom lashes from here.

And here's some pictures with me wearing them~:

As you can see, the top lashes are very natural looking and not very long (and also, sorry about the crappy quality >_>)

The side view

The bottom lashes are very noticeable, but still natural looking. It looks better to wear these lashes with minimal eyeliner and non-heavy make up styles.

And on to the lenses. Both the lenses are made by I. Fairy with a base curve of 8.6 and a diameter of 16.2mm (the diameter is stated both on the website and the vial. Both are 55% water so they help your eyes "breath". I took a comparison picture of the Lucius Greys side-by-side in my hand so you all can see the size, design, and color difference when it's compared to the Princess Mimi/Bambi Sesame Greys *diameter of 15mm*.

Here we have one eye with the lens and one without

The sesame greys are in my right(your left) eye and the lucius greys are in my left (your right)

As you can see the Lucius Greys are slightly bigger but the limbal ring isn't as thick as the Sesame Greys so it's probably not going to enlarge your eye as much. The color is a much more opaque and cooler looking grey than the Mimi lenses. Also there isn't another color like brown to help blend them into your natural eye, it's all grey with black lines extending from the limbal ring. I didn't have that one lens in my eye for long, but it was the first one I tried and, not gonna lie, it felt like something was in there lol. I guess I just need to wear them longer so my eye can get used to the freakin' size. Also, with both of these lenses, I get a halo effect! I've never had a halo effect from a lens before cuz my eye is big but I'm so excited cuz I have lenses that give me the halo effect!!!

Now for the Kirei Browns! They have a very similar pattern to the EOS Dolly Eyes *diamete of 14.2mm* except the pupil hole is bigger and so is the diameter. [add more info]I can already tell these are gonna be a favorite of mine >:3 I love how catty these lenses are! They are comfortable to wear, but do dry out quickly on my eye but that's cuz my eyes are pretty dry on their own lol.

P.S, the lenses were taken in bathroom lighting, it's dark out now so I can't get the sunlight versions until tomorrow, hopefully I'll remember to do that and update this post. But anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the review and found it helpful :D and now I'll end the post with pictures of my Kuronba/Rokku makeup and outfit <3
